  • Directly from you when you register for our services or communicate with us

  • From your employing organisation when they enrol you in professional development programs

  • Automatically through our video platform (Uscreen) when you access learning resources, including cookies that capture engagement data

  • Through our engagement monitoring systems that track professional development participation

 

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide access to professional development resources, webinars, and coaching sessions

  • Monitor and report on engagement and participation to your employing organisation (if they have paid for your PD membership)

  • Send communications related to your professional development journey, including progress updates, engagement reminders, and resource recommendations

  • Analyse engagement patterns using desktop analytics tools (SPSS, Excel) to improve our services

  • Fulfill contractual obligations to client organisations

 

Important: We do not use your information for sales pitches, spam, or marketing to third parties. All communications are directly related to enhancing your professional development experience.

 

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Your Employer: Engagement reports and participation data are provided only to the organisation that enrolled you in our services

  • Service Providers: Our video hosting platform (Uscreen) collects video engagement data via cookies and provides this data to us in CSV format for analysis. Uscreen maintains its own security and privacy protocols:

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights

We do not share our client database or participant lists with any third parties.

 

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information:

  • Participant data is stored in password-protected systems

  • Access is limited to team members with genuine operational need

  • Email addresses and contact details are maintained in secure, encrypted storage

  • Our video hosting platform employs industry-standard security protocols

  • Engagement data exported from Uscreen is analysed using secure desktop tools (SPSS, Excel) with password-protected files

 

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for up to three years following program completion to fulfil contractual reporting obligations and maintain institutional records. After this period, data is securely deleted unless legal requirements mandate longer retention.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Request deletion of your information - we will process your request and notify your employing organisation

  • Opt out of engagement reminder emails - you may unsubscribe at any time, though we will notify your employing organization of your opt-out request as they are responsible for professional development participation

  • Lodge a complaint if you believe your privacy has been breached

 

Cookies and Analytics

Our video platform (Uscreen) uses cookies to capture engagement data including video viewing patterns and platform usage. This information helps us understand how educators interact with professional development content and allows us to provide meaningful engagement reports to client organisations. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may limit platform functionality and prevent accurate tracking of your professional development participation, resulting in being flagged for low-engagement.

We analyse engagement data using desktop analytics tools (SPSS and Excel) in secure, password-protected environments. No cloud-based analytics tools have access to your personal information.
